    I'd Like to see more Modern Aircraft;
    However, even overlooking classified data issues, there is still a matter of systems complexity.

    A lot of these new Rotary and Fixed wing aircraft have extensive systems.

    The Smart thing to do when developing for a new simulator is to Start small, The Simpler the better basically.

    As 3rd Party Teams learn the Sim, and Coding the systems, move on to more adv. Aircraft.
    The more Modern/Adv. Aircraft will take longer to develop than the smaller/simpler ones.

    There's an infinite about of different user groups,
    While some might not notice the difference between fictional data being used vs real data,
    There are users that will, and those users want the most realistic representation of a Sim. possible,
    While another set of users don't want a extensive and intimidating learning curve and just want to fly planes.

    ED is working on the F/A-18C, VEAO is working on the Eurofighter, Coretex is working on the F/A-18E, the list goes on... there are a number of modern aircraft being worked on.

    Ok, well, thanks for the thought ...

    ED has already thought about this.

    ED's next full fidelity plane is the F-18C.

    VEAO I believe are producing the EF2000.

    No, unfortunately not. It was considered, but the job of making interactive tutorials like in A-10C is absolutely massive.
