Aircraft speeds edited in ME are not reflected in mission

A simple mission to practice refuelling. Originally the mission had the tanker flying at 180kts - set in both waypoints and with NO orbit instruction. When the tanker speed is amended to 215 in both waypoint speeds (and saved), the tanker speed is still at 180. Even now if I open the ME, the speeds are all at 215 (or even edited to 220kts) yet the tanker clears contact (and is operating) at 15000ft at 180kts. There is no orbit instruction or wind component.

In the Mission Editor, speeds are done by ground speed, as in the actual speed the tanker is moving across the ground. The status bar will either give you IAS or TAS.

IAS measures the speed relative to the air mass the aircraft is moving in. However, it doesn't compensate for decreasing pressure with increasing altitude, so at higher altitudes the IAS will decrease, even if the ground speed/TAS is constant.

TAS is the true airspeed relative to the air mass the aircraft is moving in, it compensates for altitude.

However, because IAS and TAS are relative to the air mass, they're both affected by the wind. Ground speed is not.

EDIT: You beat me to it before I finished typing :P
