JCook
I updated my Beta and Stable DCS environments yesterday 10/24 and now DCS hangs in both versions. I have tried going into the module manager and campaigns and in both cases DCS hangs trying to open those menus. I have to kill the app from the Task Manager. DCS what have you done? Please fix this bug ASAP.

Flappie
Your feedback is very important, and doesn't seem correlated to the OP. Next time please create a new thread. Can you reproduce the crash if you plug back your USB wheel and second USB keyboard? Don't accept indie game testing requests from friends in Discord. Ever. Motomouse
It is working after unplugging wheel and second keyboard, but I lost my [edit: spitfire (A10 II controls are working) control settings. So perhaps a reset of my control configuration happened and is related to the problem. I will now try replugging wheel and second keyboard and report back soon. Motomouse
With the Thrustmaster T500 RS Racing wheel plugged in it crashes again. With the second keyboard plugged in it is working fine. cellinsky
Since the last update, I cant start DCS anymore. Never ever happend to me in my long DCS carriere. Never had any problem with an update. Seems its trying to open a track-file? I have done a complete openbeta reinstall inclusive deleting the user-folder. Still get that same crash. Submited the crash-log earlier. Here is a sample on whats going on before the crash: Any ideas? 2020-11-04 16:25:18.471 INFO DCS: G:\DCS World\bin\webrtc_plugin.dll, 6255616 bytes, created 4:11:2020-16.4.22, written 4:11:2020-16.4.22, accessed 4:11:2020-16.25.19 2020-11-04 16:25:18.471 INFO DCS: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\msdmo.dll, 34600 bytes, created 7:12:2019-9.8.7, written 7:12:2019-9.8.7, accessed 4:11:2020-16.25.19 2020-11-04 16:25:18.471 INFO DCS: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\dhcpcsvc6.DLL, 73216 bytes, created 16:10:2020-19.11.58, written 16:10:2020-19.11.58, accessed 4:11:2020-16.25.19 2020-11-04 16:25:18.471 INFO DCS: try to write track file 2020-11-04 16:25:18.472 INFO DCS: 'C:\Users\marce\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs\dcs.20201104-162518.crash' deleted successfully 2020-11-04 16:25:18.523 INFO DCS: 'C:\Users\marce\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs\dcs.20201104-162518.dmp' deleted successfully 2020-11-04 16:25:18.523 WARNING DCS: track file empty 2020-11-04 16:25:18.523 WARNING DCS: mission file empty 2020-11-04 16:25:21.359 INFO DCS: dxdiag.exe /64bit /whql:off /t "C:\Users\marce\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs\dxdiag.txt" 2020-11-04 16:25:26.559 INFO DCS: 'C:\Users\marce\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs\dxdiag.txt' deleted successfully 2020-11-04 16:25:26.564 INFO DCS: failed to open 'C:\Users\marce\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs\voice_chat.log' for reading === Log closed. Motomouse
You could try unplugging your controllers and check if it is related to my problem (On my PC it only crashes with TM 500 Racing wheel plugged in.) Motomouse
[Correction:] I only lost my spitfire settings for all controllers. In the A10 II the controls are working fine. Yesterday last plane I flew and changed my controls was the F5. Barus
Another thing I noticed is as follows: The crash only occurs with the thrustmaster t150 connected, but when i unplug the t150 and the game loads completely, i can plug this problemic device again and it works fine. Of course I have to do this every time when i want to run the game.
cellinsky
When I disconnect my Trustmaster RX300 Wheel, DCS loads just fine. Not having this behavior prepatch. Please have a look into this. Old Greybeard
The thing is, I'm playing from a gaming laptop, and when I try to open DCS, even with nothing plugged in, I still get the same error. I've tried disabling some built-in devices, uninstalling the graphics driver, updating all drivers and nothing.
