Hi there...How are you all doing after A-10C II came out?

I love it very much!

ok, get to the point now

I recently got black screen crash almost every session of the game with whatever aircraft I flew.

Can anyone have a look into my log file here and help me identify the causes of error and how prevent/fix this please... :smilewink:

Hi wachirarat. DCS couldn't access the graphics card. It looks like a driver crash. Do you overclock your GPU?

Hi there,

the issue I´m having since the last patch is similar, although I´m using VR:

DCS freezes, the screen goes black and I get a message that the program has crashed.

The error message reads the same as what you highlighted.

This happened with the 2 latest version of the graphics driver.

Best regards.

@upupandaway: Same error indeed. Do you overclock your GPU?

By the way, your pagefile size is quite low (7GB for 32 GB of RAM). You might want to increase the min size to 16GB and the max to 32GB.

If you keep having DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED crashes, try:

1/ Updating your drivers to the latest version.

2/ Downclocking your 2080 Ti to its standard factory frequencies (GPU clock: 1350 MHz - memory clock: 1750 MHz).

I'm getting that same error also. Windows Event Viewer says it's module windows/system/d3d11.dll, and the DCS Log says DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED. What device???

I updated my nVidia Drivers just a few weeks ago. I'll try that again..

I updated my nVidia Drivers and the game. And purchased and installed the A10c II.

I also disabled all of my mods, and disabled the addins for TacView and SRS in the DCS Installed Module settings.

Here is the DCS.log and the crash info after doing all of the above. DCS has been CTD for 3-4 weeks now within 10 mins of starting a mission.

Also, here is the Windows Event Error:

I'm pretty sure that I fixed this today. I found some info indicating this may be due to Overclocking your graphics card. I've had mine overclocked at the same settings for a long time. But I think something changed in DCS a while ago.. maybe with the lighting? I turned my Overclocking off and was able to fly for an hour with no problems. Before I the game would crash in 5-10 minutes.
