Finally found one of the references... Weekend New posted Jan 3rd 2020 by NineLine... The wording there was "significant discount" (with "discount" actually highlighted in red). But I think there were others references too, as once Taz1004 mentioned 'deep discount', I seem to remember that wording as well...

Not even the "best" astrologists claim to be able to infer the discount price out of the used wording alone  But there is no challenge too hard for the DCS community

I believe "Deep discount" was the word used.

I remember "significant discount", but who cares, the impression that was given was that it is a "big discount", so not a "10% off" or "20% off". kind level.

I think that's unreasonable considering the amount of things being added to the upgrade.

10 Euros may be unreasonable but I think about $20 is reasonable. It'll probably sell for $80 as most latest modules are. Will be $40 during 50% sale. Then $20 for A10C owners sounds reasonable.

If it's $30 or more... I don't see it as significant discount from $40. Most of you probably owned A10C for years but I just purchased it last sale for $30 because the upgrade cost I thought would be significant enough to justify purchasing it first. If it will be another $30, I would've waited. Especially since I'm not even flying A10C all that much right now since I'm on Ka-50 campaign.

It's just an upgrade of a current modules, we don't know even if they will work on the modeling limitations in the systems already implemented (SADL, INS/GPS, JDAM...), but chances are low

This module will most likely be 80 usd. A10c owners may get 50% discount

Been "flying" the A-10 for 6 years. Got it on sale back then.

Hell they could charge $100.00 for it, and I would find a way to buy it, seeing as how I have gotten multiple returns in enjoyment and knowledge from that initial $29.00 investment.

Discount would be nice, but a "newer" A-10C, with previous issues addressed, new skins, modeling etc. ???

Shut up and take my money!!

Well the original A-10C is $60, BS2 is $50 and (I checked my receipts) the BS2 upgrade was $26, and I'd expect the A-10C upgrade to be somewhere around that as well. I wonder if they'd really go as far as upping the A-10 from 60 to 80 though.

I'm thinking that the A-10C II standalone, without any discount, could sell for $70 or $80, it'd make sense. At least assuming it's significantly different from the original A-10C, systems-wise.

I'd be willing to pay that. Less than $30. Well... I'd probably pay for a bit more than $30 but will regret buying the original on last sale. Because I'd be paying $60 total and that'll be $20 more than others would pay for the full v2 during 50% sale.

Unless they offer more discount for people who recently purchased... :music_whistling:

What's more likely is that the v2 won't be on sale for some time. Although that was not the case with the F-16, so who knows, really?

I really hope they allow us to pay full price for a brand new module.

I've paid for the DCS A-10C module years ago, and I personally don't carry that notion of entitlement around just because I dropped a few bucks on something way back when...

Ten years ago I paid 59.99 USD for A-10C pre-order or whatever it was called back then.

I can pay the same now.

I got it for $9.99... I wouldn't mind paying a little more, if it meant that I'd help ED. Especially seeing that the only announced modules that interest me is Syria (bought), the Typhoon and the F-15E.
