A couple of WISHIST items

I often wonder, if the playerbase/ user community can mod certain things into DCS, is it not then possible for ED to construct those things also and add them to the core of the game?

 

In particular,

 

1. A seafire (granted that the modded solution does not ahve a hook) https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4180625

apaprently the functionality was achieved int his mod with just a .lua update to the existing spitfire.

 

2. Making the wooden WW2 observation/ watch-towers "manable" in Combined Arms or similar. Suntsag did this with a mod around a year ago. I'd love to be able to place these wooden watch-towers on airfields so that players can "sit" in them and use them to observer airfield traffic AND to then conduct ATC roles for busy airfields.

The Seafire was a bit more than a Spit with a hook - the reinforcement for the rear fuselage changed the weight balance & they had longer undercarriage ( at least in the properly developed ones ) as well as folding wings - and the wartime ones were developed from the V originally, and then turned into a distinctly unique Griffon-powered version, so we're quite a long way away with our IX. A Seafire 15 or 17 would be awesome, but it'd be rather like the 190 Dora vs Anton.

 

I like the mannable towers, that surely shouldn't be difficult. Maybe we could have a usable gun there for fun.
