Hammer1-1 Posted May 30, 2020 Share Posted May 30, 2020 An easy reference Ive always looked at when I do it is to align the numbers on the ladder on the refueling pylon and reference the basket with the VVI and horizon. In this case, you would see the number 5 on the HUD tape aligned with the tank pylon vertically, and the artificial horizon horizontally.
