Glad to know I'm not the only one experiencing this. It's a very drastic drop. I would consistently get 60FPS and I'm now getting 30.

For reference I'm running an i5-2500K at 4.5GHz, GTX670 FTW , and 8GB DDR3. Something must be really messed up to cause such a drop on my machine.

Hi Mustang,

Yes, I run the sim at high scenes and textures, all settings high (which is also what I used for version 1.2.0) I noticed a significant drop in FPS, and what's worse, a long stutter about every couple of seconds or so...

Hope that gets fixed soon. Good thing we have the auto updater now...

Ok just an idea, try the attachment below - it's the High.lua from 1.2.0, if some of you could try this out and report their findings it would be of great help

(backup original file and extract into \DCS World\Config\terrain)

Leafer. let us know how it runs for you. I'm still DLing world.

Really choppy. 9 fps where it used to be around 13-15 fps. I have a low-end system though; two-year-old old i3 w equally unimpressive HD4600 series card.

ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P

Did that FPS fix already hit the auto update? I went ahead and installed the new version, which updated itself right away.

If there's a FPS drop, I didn't notice. My performance was marginal to begin with, 40's in the instant action missions, and 20's in the campaign (at least when A-10 was standalone, it was in the single digits on the last version of world).

Although, I didn't get a chance to test it thoroughly, it would appear that the campaigns are running much smoother now.

The High.lua from 1.2.0 help a little, But not quite, Something more continues causing BIG fps problems..

The difference is really noticeable between 1.2.0 and 1.2.1.

Thanks anyway!!

Details of every update can be found in your Saved Games/DCS/Logs folder in the autoupdate.log file.

Is what 159th Viper said to me in the other thread (too lazy to quote sorry)

Check or post your log, does it say anything about updating the FPS issue?
