I know that there are various RWR Threat Guides available, here's two that I made.

V1. Full information without images (Landscape Format)

V2. Abbreviated version with images (Portrait Format/ Print at 50% and stick to inside of canopy)

These documents are provided as is, they help me, they might help you too.

Range and Altitude information is from the internet as are the mini images.

These will be part of my Touch IR profile if I ever figure out how to export it properly...

Happy hunting.

THANK YOU!

Sometimes I just have a horrible memory...and I'm lazy. :) I should probably make flash cards and study some of this stuff, but this will definitely help when out on the job and trying to communicate what the heck it is that is trying to kill me. :)

Too bad you can't make an RWR reference for aircraft since like at least half of the aircraft out there show up as "U" (for unknown) since patch 1.1.0.8 came out... that is, if you even get the spike before the SARH R-27R they launched kills you. :(

Very nice! But I was wondering, is it ever possible to get a "9" or "13" appear on the RWR?

SA-9, no, SA-13, not in the sim. However, supposedly at least some SA-13 launchers have a ranging radar installed on them in real life, so that could show up on a real-life RWR. But they never will in the sim.

Keep in mind that RWR stands for Radar Warning Receiver, so if you aren't being illuminated by radar, you won't see it on the RWR. SA-9 and SA-13 are IR guided. Also, keep in mind that the missile warning system is a separate system that detects the signature of a missile launch. It is not part of the RWR, it just happens to display the azimuth of detected missile launches on the RWR display.
