Are those pods for real? i mean, are they based on something that the russians actually have?

Yes

...wow...Talk about area supression weaponry

That's the idea :)

Trivia:

A dual-stage trigger in effect: First-stage fires the two 7.62mm MG's while the second stage engages both the 7.62's as well as the 12.7mm MG. Pilot can also select either the 7.62mm or 12.7mm only.

Viper,

Thanks for the quick and kind answer.

Wow...I'm amazed... those russians guys really had some crazy ideas. I was first impressed when I learned about some rocket launched torpedoes (i.e. RPK-2 Viyuga) and rocket propelled torpedoes (Shkval). But for aerial engagmentes never had seen something like those pods.

Geez...those russian guys really think outside the box.

Dang, HungaroJet, I want your processor...!

Nothing special, Intel made it, maybe iv got a finer CPU unit. Luckily.

DCS-WH has GPU limit with this CPU.

oh yeah, I wondered where the range can be set... thanks

 Ooops, i forget to mention this: Trees Visibility @ 30.000

Not as spectacular like the Clutter/Bushes Visibility SmallShit  but worth a try:

High/Med settings on my 8 years old PC...(Abit IC7) :smilewink:

Is it a IC7 Max3?

From the days of Pentium 4, the Abit IC7-Max2/3 is fondly remembered as one of the best overclocking boards that was ever made and most certainly the best Abit ever made. I had one myself mated with a 3.4Ghz "Gallatin" Extreme Edition. Clocks were htting 4.2Ghz. It also had a cool little fan on the North bridge :D

FUN, FLY and Train-ing :) Long, moving runway

Sometimes the game crashed when fuselage was on train but wingtip touched the ground. :(

nice shots :) have a question how big influence has this small shit :D on max settings (FPS) ???

Big ?

HUGE influence with grass/smallshit range = 50.000 (< not a problem with 6990 or GTX590)

, but if you have HD6950 (&higher) or GTX470 (&higher) you will really enjoy this smallshit feature :megalol: especially if you are a deepflyer :smilewink: and it will be essential with the "nextpatch DCS-BS" i think.

Try (different) lower settings @ CLUTTER/BUSHES Visibility, 4xmpl: 1000, 5000, 10.000 or more. U will C.

( FPS: depends of the density too: SquareSize, Numbers of SquareSize and HeightMapSize )

Good Luck.
