jg3_dragon
Desert_Terrain_MOD_v1 by JG3_Dragon Download Link: http://www.jagdgeschwader.org/JG3Dragon/Desert_Terrain_MOD_v1.rar I was motivated to make this Desert Mod by wanting a Desert Combat scenerio. I used Vip3r's textures for the missions we made. I wanted a different look. So I set out to make this MOD with that different look. 17 hours of editing later...this is it. To use this MOD. You have to create a mission using Autumn Season. I have included one for your Black Shark Simulation. My Mission "Hit The Beach Again" is included and already set to the Season setting so you can see this mod from within the Simulation. Textures where used from real desert images modified for Black Shark. The Texture MAPs are the default MAPs from the original Simulation. It isn't correct with any Desert location in the World. But can be used for Fictional Mission use with a Desert theme if you desire. If I knew how to create and make REAL location maps. I would. Maybe someday I will learn this. But for now, This is the best I can do with the tools I have. Files contained in this Package are as follows: desert mod readme Desert_Terrain_MOD_v1 - folder with the mod and mission files ready for install. To INSTALL without ModMan or JSGME: The MOD is NOT ModMan ready. I use JSGME for scenery textures. You can make your own ModMan install from the files. It is up to you to use with ModMan. 1. Locate files named: "LandTexturesAutBMP.cdds" and "LandTexturesAutTGA.cdds". Located in: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\Bazar\Terrain\Surface 2. Backup the originals Texture Files, so you can change back to the original Texture files when needed. 3. Unpack the files from the MOD to a location you can copy and paste from. 4. Take the "BAZAR" and "MISSIONS" Folders from within the "Desert_Terrain_MOD_v1" folder. Copy and paste to this location: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50, Click "yes to all" to overwrite. 5.Start an online session using the mission: "Hit The Beach Again_AUT_DESERT_EASY.miz" Which I have included, It will be in your "missions" folder after you have copy and pasted the MOD. Select a Ka50 and enjoy. ***************************** To install using JSGME: 1. Unpack this MOD to: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\Mods 2. Start JSGME and select: "Desert_Terrain_MOD_v1" and activate. 3. Start an online session using the mission: "Hit The Beach Again_AUT_DESERT_EASY.miz" Which I have included, It will be in your "missions" folder. Select a Ka50 and enjoy. 4. To go back to standard AUT scenery. Open JSGME and deactivate the mod: "Desert_Terrain_MOD_v1" 5. You are ready to play in standard AUT Season. You do not have to back up any files using JSGME. ***************************** "I would like to thank and express the Textures used for this mod include work done by Vip3r, like Palm Tree's, Cactus, and Roadways. I have edited over 390 scenery textures to get the best look and feel for the MOD. The files in this rar.package are free to use as you like. Edit, change it, show your best work. I do not have any problem with what you desire to create. It is a mod, like any mod, for the pleasure of the people using it to enhance their hobby. Always FREE from me to you. Hope you enjoy the MOD....Until someone makes it better. **** JG3_Dragon Images:

jg3_dragon
No..Not at all. I thank you. I have been looking into the issue on my end for our ftp.server showing Mal-ware. I don't like it, and I am going to fix it if I have to upgrade to another host. I am just upset that it isn't clean for some odd reason for you people. I AM against any mal-ware issues myself. Again, Thanks much. Dragon

jg3_dragon
This MOD can only be used with the mission Season set for "Autumn". Do to the fact that, all this mod does is replace the "Standard Autumn Textures with the Desert Mod Textures". You can max the temp settings with no clouds for the effect of a Desert in the mission builder. Make sure the Season is set to Autumn..... Dragon

DTWD
I take back everything I said, I just looked at the page source, you are in fact correct! Maybe he get's referer fee's for posting those on there, or it's been hacked. Your page tries to open an external page in an iframe. This is what google has to say about that site: http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?&site=http://200.155.17.172/ You then have a massive long list of pron links. The funny thing is I noticed none of this until I switched off the page styling and then viewed the code...naughty naughty! If your seriose about fixing it replace your index page code with something like this (this is untested but it should be correct): <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title>Home of all things Cool</title> </head> <body text="#FF0000" bgcolor="#000000"> <p align="center"><img border="0" src="2.gif" width="835" height="98"></p> <p align="center"><img border="0" src="1.jpg" width="835" height="542"></p> <p align="center"><font face="Buckingham">Home of all things Cool</font></p> <p align="center"><font face="Buckingham">est 12/17/05</font></p> </body> </html> Edited February 7, 2009 by DTWD I said pop up, I meant external page...slip of the tongue...said the vicar to the choir boy. RapidllBlade
Hello, No I am not. Why do you ask? If you look at the bottom of the first pic I posted (it shows part of my browser window) It refers to a member from that website. When I took the screenie my cursor must have been over top of a link (on your page) that goes to this members profile??? I noticed it after posting so I don't know where my cursor was. EDIT and I just noticed several of the embedded links also refer to members of the MW site which is why it was showing up at the bottom of my browser. Your cache was probably loading saved web page info when you couldn't see this stuff. Does your website have any link referral ads like google adsense or anything? eg do you subscribe to any ad programs? EDIT - BTW not trying to jack your thread as I do like the screenies of your mod :) RB Edited February 7, 2009 by RapidllBlade
