Yeah I know .. but "... until Santa brings us the real Ka50 down the chimney after the localization work has been completed and it's then submitted for 90 days to the various Age Rating Authorities", is just too disappointing to keep bringing up .

Thanks for the info. I will buy it, for sure.

Who knows? Not me! Either way, I doubt helping pirates with an English manual over the web is in the game plan any more.

Really? Ok. My bad.

But I'd assume the pirated version is the full game, Russian version, so it came with manual, no? And it ain't that bleeping hard to translate it to English -- in fact, there was a thread here where several people collaborated in translating the manual to Eng.

Ahh that's true. In fact I think someone on here already psoted a link to a translated version of the Russian manual(s). I haven't looked at it - seems like an exercise in frustration without some buttons to press - but it was around here somewhere.

I doubt the manual could be sold, including shipping world wide, for cheaper than you could print it out yourself. Ink off of ebay is real cheap and perfect for documents. I'm not saying it isn't worth it .. the extra 150 pages and the fact you get an official manual is going to make it great value for money to have, but for a lo0n like me I just enjoy printing these manuals out myself.

I'm among those that are awaiting for announced earlier release of ENG manuals. There is no reason why they should not be released, because you will need them for demo. Unless there will be NO demo at all

As for translating into languages other then those that will be officially release with DCS, check out this thread: DCS localization effort

Actually printing in bulk from a printer can be very cost effective...

Aye - same here

I am in the fortunate position of not havin' to bother about the cartridges......there's always plenty

Helps due to the fact that personal preference dictates that I have separate manual chapters bound in separate ring-binders.......saves having to paw through an entire manual when looking up specific points.

And in all probability BS will be treated no differently, so looking forward to printing.........

Any idea as to when we can expect the manual to be released?
