LockOn Mission Editor: LOME project

Hi all,

Since October, I began to code a LockOn Mission Editor to add new possibilities to our Simu.

From now, you can easily create simple mission to add planes, tank... and assign them some waypoints graphically without needing to launch LockOn. You can set payload for aircraft, fuel...

You can make mission under Linux (Mac probably but not yet tested) and Windows.
All the code is under GPL (open source), written in Python language. In few days, I certainly release a first alpha version, in order to see what it can do, and to make test to track bugs (it is under heavy development

).

If you are interested in making test, or helping me to develop, you are strongly welcome!

In the future, LOME will add campaign, random difficulty (by adding randomly groups, or plane), random weather, and tons of others ideas.

This is possible one of the most important projects for Lock On! I hope time will allow you to complete it and support it afterwards! The randomization features would be super-cool.

The old and dusty ME in LOFC needs a new face and u are on the best way to deliver it! Somehow it looks very promising and fits in todays software design.
