The mod is almost done, and we're pretty close to the release as you all know.

I'm packaging up most of the work now, and with the help of the rest of the team, we're making an exhasutive read me guide to help you skin the beast yourselves and integrate it with other mods where things may clash...

The way we've designed the SIM-MOD A-10, there are a lot, (and i mean more than you've ever seen before in Lock On

) skin slots.

There are however 18 spare slots remaining that we plan on making available to the Lock On squadrons. What this will mean is that for large events such as Red Flag or Black Sea Showdown, ALL players with the SIM-MOD A-10A installed will be able to see the individual and unique squadron skins for those 18 squadrons lucky enough to be on the list!

Question is.... Who want's in...!

And don't worry, the squadron skins pack will most likely be released AFTER the mod release itself, there are just some mechanics required to make it work that needs to be done before.

First come, first served, and as such the following Squadrons are already in:

141st
3Sqn
S77th
DFA
169th
TuAF
{adi}
Black Falcons
Airhawks
9th
104th
ECV56 Condor
=RvE=
vJG71
159th
3rd-Wing 75th
JaBoG 322 Flying Monsters

I would like to request a skin for the Virtual 9th Air Force (http://www.virtual9thaf.com). Our A-10 wing is modeled after the 23rd Fighter Wing of the USAF.

The model and skins look amazing. I am so glad that you guys are working so hard and are not giving in to pressure to release before it is ready. I expect this to be one of the greatest mods for LockOn to date.
