DCS: A-10A (and FC3) - "Horse of War" HD Worn Cockpit (based on RICARDO's)

Cockpit textures mod for the standalone A-10A, and the Flaming Cliffs 3 module (where the aircraft is included).
Compatible with cockpit livery format (can be enabled or disabled via Customized Cockpit menu in the game options).
Built and tested on DCS World version 1.5.8, but also works with older and newest versions (1.5.x and 2.x.x).

It is an adaptation, a conversion of sorts, from the amazing "HORSE of WAR" HD Cockpit textures pack, which Ricardo previously made and released for "DCS: A-10C Warthog". Just like before with the A-10C, these make a dramatic change (for the better) in the cockpit visuals of the A-10A, as you'll certainly realize.

Simple installation notes are in the "READ ME.txt" provided inside the download ZIP package.

Honestly one of the reason I seldom fly the A-10 was the shiny clean cockpit...thanks for doing this.

 

Any way to make this compatible with cockpit livery format?

...but I missed your post by a matter of an hour or so...

Somehow I managed the issue on my own, found a thread where it's somewhat explained (here) and I got to this description.lua Extractor, made the necessary changes, and already uploaded a newer version of the mod. :smartass: :blush:

 

In anycase, I'm (again) gratefull for your assistance. :) thanks so much

 

I think I can consider the mod finished (happy with it) and call it a day.

So, if at some point, you have ideas to improve same mod and any part of this one can help, please do so, Devrim. :thumbup:

Wait, you mean there is an NVG mod for the A-10A? ...where is it available, please?

 

EDIT: I managed to understand how to implement it through same mod for other aircraft (:smartass::D!) but I don't think it'll pass online filter(?), so not sure it's a good idea. :ermm:

I much prefer individual Mods ... packaging them as single units takes away your flexibility and makes it harder to pinpoint conflicts.
