Default New idea (Mad) controllable SAM

What do you think about controllable SAM in Lock-On? Really, really mad idea

Altek-300, S-300 simulation only for users

Personally I think it would be a -great- idea having a player control the IADS to some degree.

I agree, this would be a awsome addition. It would also matter how well it was modeled.

I think this idea was brought up several times, but now with some really cool link provided. Awesomeness. We better start to search p2p networks

You won't find any of this on 'P2P networks' or any networks whatsoever. This, like manuals that are to be studied to utilize the S300, are typically locked in a training vault. You walk in with nothing, you walk out with nothing.

Don't kid yourself

Besides, an S300 simulation by itself is useless - an IADS simulation would work much better, even if it was abstracted.

I was being sarcastic. Of course I wouldn't find it. Gotcha!

How so Cali? I mean its a natural progression ultimately for sims to encompass more human controlled elements. Although the likes of BF2 are ultra arcade, imagine ultimately having a sim where the majority or all of units are human controlled. Far greater immersion. No AI can ever (at least in our years) accurately replicate a human.

Personally I'd like to sit a few rounds out of flying and try to take out a few ACs from my SAM unit

I'd imagine working a SAM battery would be similar playing style to sub simulators. Lots more hands off, but more analysis.

Just my 2 cents tho.
