I am very proud to announce that the DLC for DCS versions 1.5.x is ready for download:

https://starwayblog.wordpress.com/

1.Step

Due to the fact that this DLC contains several lua-files (config files) which will overwrite the core files, there is no better way than installing it via JSGME. A very detailed guide how to install can be found in the forum:

http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=98607

So please follow these instructions first.

2.Step

Download the DLC via the button "Download Caucasus DLC 1.5.x" on the DLC website.

3.Step

Unzip content.

4.Step

Drag and drop the folder "Caucasus Map DLC by Starway" into your JGMSE -mods folder

5.Step

You should now see the folder "Caucasus Map DLC by Starway" listened under "Available mods". Klick on it and than press the first button with the arrow pointing to the right. The folder will then move to the right side. That's it. Enjoy your flight!

An alternative way would be to drag and drop the content of the zip into your main DCS folder and overwrite if asked. But than you have to repeat this procedure after every update, and your original files will be lost without a backup.

DLC Update 2.4

---------------------------------------

The new 2.4 version of this DLC is ready for release

The testing phase is over which means the file will be available for public.

In this update, the main focus is on the distant textures. More than 16.0000 texture files have been edited. The result is a much more volumetric looking terrain with more contrast. The snowy mountain tops have been exchanged so it fits better to the overall look and the high resolution mountain textures. All the remaining high res textures like fields, grass and village textures have been retouched, to make them blend perfectly into the distance.

Is there anyway we can get this moved for more visibility and Starway is it possible to set a tracker to see how the support is going?

Best,

I'm in.

Suggestion though, you may want to include a link to the English speaking PayPal site. I don't speak German and had to go to the English PayPal site to donate.

No big thing but it might turn some off.

Donated. Is there a way to see the current total? I could not find it on the site. Good luck.

I couldn't find an option for a counter so I will post frequent updates about the number of donators.

I'm sure some of us may see to it to donate again once it reaches $2k so that we can get to that magic number of $3k. :)
