Rangi
On 3OCT2015. Anyone thinking of going? I would love to, but it's a bit far for a weekend trip :( I wonder if ED or VEAO are planning on having a stall? If anyone is going I would love an AAR or some photos to try and get an idea of the scale and patronage of the event. https://www.facebook.com/FlightSimulatorShow http://www.warbirdsnews.com/aviation-museum-news/experience-virtual-skies-cosford.html PC: 6600K @ 4.5 GHz, 12GB RAM, GTX 970, 32" 2K monitor. Radbes
That 109 sim would be really cool. The problem I have: They claim to use DCS, however, the cockpit on their pictures is not a K version, and it does not look like it is fully functional. Fudge
Well show's over. Hadn't spotted the thread before hand. I formed combat pilot. Only had the P-51 sim there, all the space that the show could allocate at the time. Hopefully no one turned up looking for the 109. The 109 is based on the F model. But will be using the K. Sims are not 100% accurate but I feel (as well as the people I've spoken to while at the shows) that they are for the most part close enough. As much as I'd love for everything to be in place, what I aim to use them for it's not necessary and more to go wrong. The essentials are there (or will be) for engine start ups. Sight is static but collimated. Weapon systems in place. Been to the shows to gather feedback to see if there is a viable market to rent them out as well as to promote DCS. Majority of people I speak to haven't heard of DCS, and are even more surprised when I inform them its free for home use. Happy to answer questions or post some photos if wanted. Didn't get chance to take any photos of the other stands unfortunately.
