Quick everyone, to your Bescherelles! Must conjugate those radio commands properly! :)

Thinking about that actually, will we get real french speech in the future? Does anybody know? The current english with french "Allo Allo"-accent is charming of course but it's only used by allied french pilots in the game and to be perfectly honest, how much work can it really be to get your own pilot speaking french (with english subs of course)?

Quite some work, but feasible.

The French trad team did it some years ago for Black Shark release, for all in-game voices, and the result was not too bad.

I was pilot #1 (player) :)

EDIT: To clarify, I'm no longer an active member of the trad team (in spite of my outdated signature...), and I'm just talking about feasibility here.

Whether it will actually be done some day would need to be assessed by ED / Razbam / the current French trad team.

^^ AWESOME!

Well, then there's hope. I don't know how to kick this off but I hope we can pressure the right people to understand that DCS WORLD shouldn't just be in english and russian. French and spanish are quite big languages (last time I checked). But then again, maybe this isn't the right time to start an inquest into it (with the new DCS and all). Maybe we should let the dust settle first. Or maybe not.

What's with the sound effects in your video Zeus? Everytime you rotate the knob, the echo sounds like a gun being fired in the distance or is that just me?

Sorry if that question has been asked already, a lot of pages in this thread... but, does this Mirage version have some kind of data link to see other planes /teammates/flights and their position on the HSD/radar and will it be in the sim? Thanks!

The only datalink available in 2000 C is ground to air for Ground Controlled Intercept (GCI).

Unlikely to be available in foreign country...

No air to air datalink.

Today I present to you the RAFAUT AUF2 bomb rack. With this baby, the M-2000C can carry more bombs. The use of the rack is constrained to physical size. It is a tight fit to have it under the wings so some ordnance cannot be carried due to volume.

Latest test. The flight model still is a SFM, the EFM is still pre-alpha at this moment and not available for testing.

I take the RADAR MFCD does not have a "stretched" base, like the F16's one for example? I don't remember the technical term.

It does, it actually has two screen modes: PPI, the one that you see here, and B-Mode, which is the one used by all US aircrafts. B-Mode is not available yet, but it will be.
