Lange_666
I'm thinking of a new build also. Quick question: Why the MSI board? (because that's one thing i'm still uncertain about). Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind combat pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S. Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!

Jeesus
Pretty Nice setup there! It will run DCS like a dream, I absolutely have no experience with Nvidia cards, but for me the smaller brother of your supposed choice runs it pretty well (in cockpit 50fps to outside view 120fps not heavily loaded scenario of course but heavily loaded scenarios usually eat up the CPU more than the GPU). Historic
Yer have seen that nvidia seems to be the card for this game but as I already have a HD7970 I'll stick with it, But thanks for the heads up. 159th_Falcon
Nice specs, shame you also bought an kingston SSD though. Relative to other brands there slow(er) while equally expensive for a given amount of storage. Still, any SSD is a great improvement over an HDD. That system should run DCS quite well.
