I've been trying to get this to work for some hours now...but I'm inexplicably crashing upon loading a mission. Followed the steps in the first post over and over just to make sure I wasn't muffing it up. It's a straightforward JSGME mod install, not sure what the deal is. I can tell SweetFX is enabled because I can toggle it in the menu screen, but as soon as I click on a mission I CTD.

Using a GTX 670 with the latest drivers on a triple screen 5760x1080 setup (tried 1920x1080 as well, no go). Using DCS 1.2.7. Are there any in-game video settings that conflict with SweetFX?

EDIT: Figured out the issue (PEBCAK)...I had dxtory running the entire time and I forgot. Everyone knows FXAA injectors don't like overlays to interfere. I'm now running sweetfx with zero issue.

Sorry, AbortedMan! Just got around to replying to your comment! I was going to ask if you have anything such as Fraps of Dxtory running, but now I see you found out the problem. Glad it's working for you, man!

But isn't SweetFx supposed to work only with 32-bit game executables?

There are both 32bit and 64bit versions available.

Is this option set in your injector.ini?

You need to disable the split screen option in your SweetFX setting file. IIRC, it is the last option in the list.

Wrong line. That line defines what the split screen does when it is on. The line that turns it on, or off, is near the top of the file (around line 42) and looks like this.

#define USE_SPLITSCREEN        0            // [0 or 1] Splitscreen : Enables the before-and-after splitscreen comparison mode.

Thats only way to ON or OFF splitscreen. Must work. Check your admin rights before edit file.

As 238thFalcon said, it has to work. Is it possible that there is another settings file in use, perhaps from a previous install?

I have always off "admin rights"

1 question, in default, all you have same screen (what i set Previous Page) when you start DCS ? same was in RoF, in IL-2 CloD, works fine.

THX again guys, for you help.

I think you do wrong again and again. This edit in your pic is wrong:

2hr3m2e.jpg

Open SweetFX_setting.txt file and you will see:

/*-----------------------------------------------------------.

/ Choose effects /

'-----------------------------------------------------------*/

// Set to 1 for ON or 0 for OFF

#define USE_SMAA_ANTIALIASING 1 //[0 or 1] SMAA Anti-aliasing : Smoothens jagged lines using the SMAA technique.

#define USE_FXAA_ANTIALIASING 0 //[0 or 1] FXAA Anti-aliasing : Smoothens jagged lines using the FXAA technique. WIP - Currently only works in DX9 and you need to use the FXAA injector dlls.

#define USE_EXPLOSION 0 //[0 or 1] Explosion : Scatters the pixels, making the image look fuzzy.

#define USE_CARTOON 0 //[0 or 1] Cartoon : "Toon"s the image. (Interferes with SMAA, CRT, Bloom, HDR and Lumasharpen)

#define USE_ADVANCED_CRT 0 //[0 or 1] Advanced CRT : Simulates an old CRT TV display. (Interferes with SMAA, Cartoon, Bloom, HDR and Lumasharpen, and it has a very high performance cost)

#define USE_BLOOM 0 //[0 or 1] Bloom : Makes bright lights bleed their light into their surroundings (relatively high performance cost)

#define USE_HDR 0 //[0 or 1] HDR : Not actual HDR - It just tries to mimic an HDR look (relatively high performance cost)

#define USE_LUMASHARPEN 1 //[0 or 1] LumaSharpen : Also sharpens the antialiased edges which makes them less smooth - I'm working on fixing that.

#define USE_LEVELS 0 //[0 or 1] Levels : Sets a new black and white point. This increases contrast but causes clipping. Use Curves instead if you want to avoid that.

#define USE_TECHNICOLOR 0 //[0 or 1] TECHNICOLOR : Attempts to mimic the look of an old movie using the Technicolor three-strip color process (Techicolor Process 4)

#define USE_DPX 0 //[0 or 1] Cineon DPX : Should make the image look like it's been converted to DXP Cineon - basically it's another movie-like look similar to technicolor.

#define USE_MONOCHROME 0 //[0 or 1] Monochrome : Monochrome makes the colors disappear.

#define USE_LIFTGAMMAGAIN 1 //[0 or 1] Lift Gamma Gain : Adjust brightness and color of shadows, midtones and highlights

#define USE_TONEMAP 1 //[0 or 1] Tonemap : Adjust gamma, exposure, saturation, bleach and defog. (may cause clipping)

#define USE_VIBRANCE 1 //[0 or 1] Vibrance : Intelligently saturates (or desaturates if you use negative values) the pixels depending on their original saturation.

#define USE_CURVES 1 //[0 or 1] Curves : Contrast adjustments using S-curves.

#define USE_SEPIA 1 //[0 or 1] Sepia : Sepia tones the image.

#define USE_VIGNETTE 0 //[0 or 1] Vignette : Darkens the edges of the image to make it look more like it was shot with a camera lens. May cause banding artifacts.

#define USE_DITHER 0 //[0 or 1] Dither : Applies dithering to simulate more colors than your monitor can display. This lessens banding artifacts (mostly caused by Vignette)

#define USE_BORDER 0 //[0 or 1] Border : Makes the screenedge black as a workaround for the bright edge that forcing some AA modes sometimes causes.

#define USE_SPLITSCREEN 0 //[0 or 1] Splitscreen : Enables the before-and-after splitscreen comparison mode.<<<<<< This line you must edit.

#define USE_CUSTOM 0 //[0 or 1] Custom : Write your own shader by editing custom.h, and then enable it here.

cichlidfan is told you same:

Wrong line. That line defines what the split screen does when it is on. The line that turns it on, or off, is near the top of the file (around line 42) and looks like this.

#define USE_SPLITSCREEN        0            // [0 or 1] Splitscreen : Enables the before-and-after splitscreen comparison mode.
