Baasar
In the first mission, Georgian Hammer, I had to blow up a bridge. I got air born and headed on route to the fence. Tried to contact The JTAC Deathstar on 30.00 VHF FM. No response. Tried several times. Also, tower wasn't responding on my inbound. I had the right frequency. I used the \ and fkey command for the radios. Edited December 21, 2014 by Baasar
Yurgon
I used the \ and fkey command for the radios. With realistic comms (i.e., Easy Comms not checked in DCS Options), there's a 4-way Mic Switch on the A-10C's throttle required for radio communication: Mic Switch Forward: VHF AM Mic Switch Aft: VHF FM Mic Switch Down: UHF Mic Switch Up: No function (in DCS A-10C) So, depending on the freq you're trying to talk on, you'll have to select the appropriate Mic Switch. You can find more information in the manual, which lists the exact frequency ranges for the radio sets and how to set the frequencies, and you can look up and assign keyboard and joystick keys in the game's Options -> Controls screen.
