0414 Wee Neal
Hi I am just starting to finalise the details for my latest panel - Intercom Panel, but I cannot seem to find a switch which fits the bill. As I understand the manual they are push button on/off which you also use as a volume control. Can anyone advise on how they have dealt with these switches please? In the manual they are numbered buttons/switches 2 to 9. Adrian_gc
Hi, for example and it is only my personal opinion, you can use a "push pull pot". http://www.stewmac.com/Pickups_and_Electronics/Components_and_Parts/Potentiometers/CTS_Push-pull_Pots_SPST.html Hope this help you!!! Deadman
There is not that much room between switch placment for a big pot. It is listed in my switch list you could fine then fairly cheap or use it as a cross refrence. The Intercom panel INT - HM are CLAROSTAT in out switched potentiometers VA388-10K BJ-3 VOL is a Small 10 K potentiometer Rotary Selector Dial. is a 5 position rotary to get the correct angle between stops last unmarked position is used for TACAN audio (Morse ID) Call MS25089-3G http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=160350 https://www.shapeways.com/shops/a-10c-warthog-supplies https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans. Hansolo
I have been using these (http://www.electronicsurplus.com/gould-27m748-potentiometer-20k-ohm-with-po-po-push-on-push-off-switch?___SID=U) and they will fit but only just as there isn't too much room as Deadman says (http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1853329&postcount=39). The Adrian_GC mentioned will probably also fit. One benefit with the Gould ones is that that they have thin shaft 1/3" which can be used with original knobs. Drawback is shiiping from the US. Haven't found them in EU, sorry :-( Cheers Hans 132nd Virtual Wing homepage & 132nd Virtual Wing YouTube channel My DCS-BIOS sketches & Cockpit Album
