How do I install? I got 51 beta 2 working. Download world again or which files? do a clean reinstall jotting down regedit old ED mustang, etc..?

I did a fresh install of everything and DCS World remembers my P51 serial but not A-10. Download World 1.2 and all the 1.2 modules exe files you've paid for will work.

From the changelog I got the impression the helmet style would change (automatically) depending on the skin chosen.

I uninstalled DCS world Beta. Fresh install of the Release DCS World then the New P51 beta. All previous settings were picked up including Keyboard and axis assignments etc. .... effortless.

When I am in single player no keyboard command will work. I did not modify any key binds either????

Try renaming the main "DCS World" folder to "DCS World 1.2.0" or something. Also delete or rename the DCS Users folder in C:\Users\<User Name>\Saved Games\DCS

Is there any way to undo this without uninstalling World+P51 after (accidentally) checking that box during the install of P-51. I'd like to have the most advanced flight model, thank you. No "EZ mode" for me. :pilotfly:

What changed here? I really liked the way collisions were still possible, but without fires/explosions the way it was before (we had fun bumping wingtips -- on purpose -- while in formation). I'm not near my computer to try it myself right now, so I'm curious what's different with immortal now?

I think it meant the crash and death but invincible off bug. Now we have to pay more attention in the campaign or risk a restart. IIUC

Go into the options menu. You can change to AFM there. (checkbox) No need to reinstall it :)

Was the roll rate adjusted in version 1.2.0? Seems a bit slugish now compared to the previous version.

 

Secondly, RCtrl-KpENT (zoom reset to default) does not work for me in external views (F11). I checked the key assignments and it's still showing it as such, but doesn't work in the sim. Anyone else experience this?

 

 

EDIT: I guess it's aerodynamic forces acting on the controls preventing full deflection (at higher speeds). I can see how the stick inside the cockpit isn't moved as much flying faster even though I'm moving my joystick full scale. As far as the reset zoom key assignment, it works for me in F2 view, but not F11. Anyone else notice the same?
