[DCSW: Mi-8MTV2] English Cockpit Mod

Recommended Posts

well its not working, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I downloaded from the updated link, extracted the files, moved folder with extracted files to MI8MTV-STND-TEXTURES.zip. It seems simple enouf but when I get in the mi8 I still have Russian words.

You should have put just the files, not a folder containing them, into the zip.

ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme 8GB, Corsair HX1000i, Phillips BDM4065UC 40" 4k monitor, VX2258 TouchScreen, TIR 5 w/ProClip, TM Warthog, VKB Gladiator Pro, Saitek X56, et. al., MFG Crosswind Pedals #1199, VolairSim Pit, Rift CV1

Click to open the MI8MTV-STND-TEXTURES.zip

Click to open the Devrim_DCSWMi-8_EnglishCockpitMod_v1.4a.zip

Now you see two opened windows, right?

Select all files from my mod file window and drag them into Mi-8 side. :)

I think I can't tell it simpler than this. I hope it'll work...

If you run this mod while the helo is set to Russian in the ME, the guys in the cockpit just stare at the instrument panels trying to figure out what they say. :D

Thanks again, Devrim

Dear Devrim,

you are the man ! I have been flying this Choppa now for almost 2 month in Russian language and had no clue what all those switches mean. It still was fun but my success in battle was absolut zero ! Haha

I am gonna DL the Mod now and have a ball as soon as time allows.

BTW, are you missing the A10-A or Su25-A ? I have those AC double since I also bought FC3 lately and I am willing to pass you the code if you dont call those your own. Just gimme a note if you could use them and have some fun with them !

Hi Devrim

I noticed with the latest update, the red night lighting & the hover gauge are broken. I compared with the default Russian cockpit & those are OK in it.

Anybody have the same problem as I'm having?

As always thanx for yours work Devrim:)

the hover gauge

Do you mean the "auto hover" annunciator light? Seems to be working on my end at least. Can't say anything about the night lightning however since I haven't flown any night missions lately...

No I mean the hover & slow speed gauge to the right of the compass & above the vertical speed indicator, that takes 5min to warm up. The white indicator lines are gone.

Well, this is what happens when you answer with brains deactivated. I thought this was about the blue Ka-50 pit mod! So please accept my sincere apologies and disregard the comment above

Rodd, that's odd. It didn't work with original cockpit.

Did you see that the climb/descent arrow is working?
