SharpeXB
Isn't "toss bombing" where you come in low and fast to "throw" your bombs in an arc to the target. In CCRP mode I assume. It would be cool to do this with '97s. If I recall you can set the bomb so it bursts as soon as it's dropped, so you could bomb from about a 900' pass over the target. Anyone tried this? Edit: a YouTube search found this. Looks like big fun. ShuRugal
that would work much better with WCMDs (CBU-105), get a lot more range out of it. Break on drop is stupid with a 97/105, because the chutes stop forward progress instantly. The purpose of a toss is to release munitions from a stand-off distance (IE: to not overfly the target) while staying at a low altitude because of LoRAD threats in the theatre. PGMs are the only weapons that are truly practical for this method of employment, unless you drop hundreds of rounds at a time.

Evil.Bonsai
F-15Es were toss bombing mk-82s and 84s in the Gulf War. They're also moving a LOT faster. A-10s are not really suited to toss bombing.
Irregular programming
There is almost no gain at all in toss bombing in the A-
JB3DG
I think I managed at one point to get a Mk-82 to gain just barely 500 feet of altitude from release in the A-10. Its just too slow.
HiJack
The A-10C is to slow to toss anything.
