I used to fly with throttles linked until I read that there's no such link in the real aircraft. I then forced myself to keep the throttles unlinked and realized it took maybe half an hour until I couldn't tell the difference any longer. :) Besides, "walking the throttles" in aerial refueling is much simpler this way. :thumbup: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Now, if we could just get a GAU-8 in the nose next to the AN/APG-65, a titanium tub around the pilot, and a couple of J-58 engines in the tail... Aginor Posted July 31, 2015 Share Posted July 31, 2015 Yes. You can read in various sources that it is done in various airplanes, perhaps in all multi-engine fighters. I am 100% sure for the A-10 and F/A-18 and I think I read the same somewhere about the F-15E and the F-4.
