Vita_CZ
Good morning to all, Is there anybody who know how to use the force trim feature for Huey? Having Microsoft Sidewinder FF II, I turned on the force feedback and mapped the force trim to a button. When I press the button, forces are gone, which is OK I think, but once I release it, forces are back and joystick usually tries to reposition somewhere else and the force situation is usually much worse than before the trim application. I have been forced to switch force feedback off in game menu. I also studied the manual (both in-game and real one), but haven't found any guide to force trim usage. There is just an information, that the force trim reduces forces on the cyclic. Would you mind to guide me step by step, how to use this feature properly? Thank you in advance! PeterP
Options -> Gameplay tab Un-Check Central Position Trimmer Mode Options -> Controls tab 1. Highlight the SideWinder row 2. Click FF Tune 3. Check Swap Axis Edit: Never use curves and dead-zones on the FFB axis . It will mess up the proper behaviour of your stick! . DCS-World 1.2.4 has the option to swap each axis individually - you want to swap both for the MSSFFB2. Edited May 10, 2013 by PeterP
