DCS F-35A

Wags

Recommended Posts

of course now we need an enemy AI gen 4 aircraft as a match for the F-35A

:)

there are no 4gen or 4++ gen aircrafts which will able to fly close enough to F-22 or F-35

they will get spamraam-d into face before catch a F-35 on radar

and i guess F-35 has half sized RCS than F-22 coz much smaller than the raptor

so there will be only 4 or 5 other aircafts as opponents: F-22, F-23, PAK-FA, J-20, J-31

without any of above we will not see "too many" F-35s in online missions, i am sure :(

Why all the negative inputs, further more some of people here rush to conclusions or have selective eyesight capable of dismissing official support to the project. No ones forcing you to buy anything, sit back and watch things to see what comes up. :)

I think its great news. Both Kinney and Ed should profit out of this. I expect many new comers that this aircraft will attract, regardless of its fidelity level that may be improved for mo/years to come as long as its available to fly. For all of you that are so strict, Just stay with your current hi fidelity module. And for others that worried about being constantly shot down by F35 I'm sure there will be some dedicated servers. Tip for the Kinney make a small charge to participate in alpha that the best way to get rid of haters who always goanna hate. And get real feed back from people that do care and will help you with improving your product

Good morning, its nice to hear from you all. Couple of things - I understand your concern about multiplayer, with F-35s running around killing everything with magic "see all" "know all" avionics. Truth is the F-22 has better Stealth capabilities - even with weapons tucked away. Hang iron on your wings and your flying an F-18E as far as RS goes. Now it is true that it does bring into play radar information from a lot of sources - if you have them (your wingman, AWACS, other friendly assets, etc.) but they need to be up and engaged. There is some very nice warning information - if the pilot knows how to use it. Bottom line, its gone to be a great addition to our community. Now let me say finally - its OK to be cautious, not like the aircraft, not like changes in the DCS World - although ask yourself - can an A-10 perform its mission in a world of stealth - short answer YES. But please don't think that I've dedicated the future of my company and that of my trusted team on a SCAM... We have built and will continue to build the best quality simulation products in world. DCS gives us a chance to do great things in a combat environment. All my very best to all...

We are located in sunny Southern California... and thank you for taking the time to write. FYI we will have our own servers on for F-35 guys so we can all learn and fly together. I've will be designing a T-50 for use as an AI aircraft, but the implementation into the "Whole World" is a bit tricky. We are still learning about all of the great applications available in the DCS code so stay tuned.

We have already started with documentation and with our 3D model. The model has not been implemented into the DCS sim yet so I hesitate to show Studio Max shots - not that anybody would yell foul! smile. I'm writing the pilot interface document and system requirements including degraded modes. It's just what I did with the B-2 & F-22. I can tell you that we are very confident on our schedule - based on early development

Good luck with this only the are a lot of going forward options in the future...

I see my reputation power went from 7 to 0 just for expressing my honest opinion. It's ok. It was 0 and got to 7 for one good post about fixing crashes.

This F-35 looks like FighterOps.

http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=99293

Nothing in flyable form was ever released.

They did, however, collect money support and donations through the years of promises and even posted screenshots and videos of aircraft and Area 51..

This is one good example, and a simple Google search will show others.

The KickStarter program is what they want people to participate in.

However, some donation money or support from the community is not enough in order to develop a full module for DCS in a timely manner, you need real capital and developers, and detailed aircraft and graphical data also, which is mostly classified for F-35.

Calling this a scam is a bit harsh and premature, I agree, I might have rushed with my conclusions, or at least the labeling of this project as a hoax. This was based on 20 years of flight sim experience (Remember LHX? How about SOPWITH? :), and I've seen people get excited and then greatly disappointed before.

Only time will tell.

Well I don't know about some of the complainers, but I am looking forward to this module.

Also for the naysayers.... There has been a lot of information about the F-35 released to the public.

thank you again eagle

great news all

nice to read you are going to make a T-50 AI, however B-2 and F-22 AIs would be great as well in DCSW

unfortunately nothing is easy in DCSW but tricky - all we know :D but to implement an AI aircraft is not too hard - if you have a nice 3D model, you done it 80%

oh, please show the max model(s), we have sharp eyes and we can help if you need some ;)

Kickstarter worked great for Star citizen, MechWarrior, in the end players end up spending much more money than what they would for a boxed game in the old times. Its a successful business model and it seems its sticking as more and more editors pour into the bandwagon.

Thanks Scorpion for writing. And thank you for keeping an open mind - I believe trust must be earned so I can understand your concern. I'm looking forward to earning yours - this is not just about building a sim, its about doing what we said we would and can do.

Yes, we are so excited by the opportunity the DCS has given us. We want to, in the future, build Taiwan and the coast of China. We are also looking forward to building a WWII game in the Pacific. F4U & Zero would be our first aircraft. I do believe its smart to build in pairs. Every David needs a Goliath...

Eagle13,

I've looked at your website and seems like you have a good basic knowledge of the aircraft. I watched your youtube videos and they are pretty cool. I'm very interested in this aircraft and would love to see it come to the DCS world.

Are you planning on having the three variants of it modeled? Specifically will you have the Navy/Marine one modeled? Either way, should be awesome to have a fifth generation fighter.
