Also i notice you have an i5 CPU, is there some chance that DCS is using the onboard Intel HD graphics instead of your 7870? It's something to do with nVidia Optimus, i'm not too familiar with how that works but i think theres an option to select either Intel HD graphics or nVidia as your primary videocard. I thought that optimus is something for laptops video cards? Checking my videocard in DCS gives me the Nvidia card not the Intel HD graphics. I experience somehow a small impact on my fps and probably won't be able to go "extreme". This seems to depend a lot on how "crowded" the mission is. Time for me to upgrade my graphic card ?
