Xenovia Posted February 2, 2014 Share Posted February 2, 2014 Okay so when i first bought DCS Flamming cliffs 3 it never came with a serial number, and it has worked fine ever since until update 1.2.7 came along and screwed me over, when i have the module enabled and login to the multiplayer it says "Invalid Serial Number". I was in teamspeak earlier today with one of them, and we even tried deactivating and reactivating his FC3. He said that allowed him to log in to the master server, but as soon as he restarted DCS, the problem returned. Intelligent discourse can only begin with the honest admission of your own fallibility. It's just that several times, I've seen weird problems like this trace back to virus scanners and/or firewall programs that interfere with the operation of your computer in the name of "security", and really just end up causing more headaches than they solve. This will allow checking your account. You can retrieve the serial number you have been using through windows regedit: - Press start, then search, and type "regedit" then hit enter. - Regedit window comes up, on the left, navigate like this: Computer > HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Eagle Dynamics > FC3 > Keys You should see your serial number there as "LastNumber", otherwise step down through LicenseX. Your serial number should be possible to track down either through that, or through your user account. NOTE: DO NOT POST YOUR SERIAL NUMBER HERE ON THE FORUM. My instinctive guess would be that there is confusion between multiple accounts you might have, where it was purchased on one but you are checking another, but the only way to check that is through the support system. So if you experience this problem, please do enter a support ticket and we'll look into it ASAP.
