Thanks. I tried out extreme last night with the DTAC terrain, maybe only dropped 2 FPS overall.

For benchmarking purposes try to overfly Tbilisi :smilewink:

Sure.. I'll give it a shot right now..

EDIT **

On extreme setting with max range for tree (15000), medium water, no heat blur, every thing else on full and running windowed for some reason (?) I got between 27 and 38 FPS. My worst FPS was actually leaving the area where it dropped to 21 looking back. This is a large drop overall from usual. On high I average 55+ usually. Still playable. I dropped it down to the 2nd highest for good measure.

Thanks for the mod

I did some tweaking with RadeonPro. Now getting a constant 40 - 45 FPS over Tbilisi. When not over Tbilisi, FPS are back to usual, high 50's and up.

Love the extra visibility. I went back to stock ground textures because with your mod, up high you can see so far that you really see the repetitiveness of DTAC and the Low n' Slow texture packs. I really don't like it, looked like big green zippers.

try reducing the noise repeat in the Extreme or whichever setting you're using to a lower value such as;

noise1PerSquare = 3.0

This will greatly reduce the tiling effect seen at higher altitudes.

Excellent mod to give more settings controls :thumbup:

Found best settings for my PC on very high visi + trees rendering 9Km.

Enough FPS low level, and better rendering than stock game.

That's a good thing to be able to fine tune environment in regard of each PC!
