It looks kinda plastic this way. That was my favorite paint scheme... Yes there is two reasons for it. First it is fresh painted no scratch marks or dirt from use implemented yet. Second is alpha channel so the model is little to much shine. Problem is with alpha skin will be less shine but not that much. In same time skin will be twice bigger what will effect on performance. AND of course accurate Nguyen Van Coc livery is even better! I'm really jonesing for that so I try using the Operation Hooper campaign in Graviteam Tactics (which unfortunately only includes 23's) as a scenario generator of sorts by replicating the ground deployments in DCS when there's an engagement with Cuban air spotters.
