Everyone who isn't happy with what the new reward system is, ED should mark their names down and not give them anything at all.

 

Apparently these people would prefer going to RPG Studios (which no longer exists) to try to get what they paid for. I would be curious to see how that endeavor turns out.

 

I think what ED has done, as well as Leatherneck Studios, is extremely gracious. Generally, if something sounds too good to be true, it most likely is. $40 for 6 flyable DCS quality planes? lol.

ED offered developer assistance in manpower and resources, but the project was RRG's... and RRG's only...

With that in mind, Ilya's continued involvement in the project, in any way, is rather worrying.

What a mess ... no wonder Sith looks like he's beaten up by disgruntled customers.

First thoughts; reasonable offer. I really would have liked manuals in print like we had in the old days (hopefully ED will make them available through their webshop later on).

I also would have liked the Me.262 since I already own the P-51D (like many who pledged I believe).

Edit: Not only because of this KS fail, but I'm definitely going to revise my trust level in future KS products.

If this doesn't put the nail in the coffin for DCS Kickstarters I dont know what will!

Yo-Yo was also over seeing all FM's... that was part of the assitance... that DOESNT mean Yo-Yo had any say on the KS rewards or anything else... very much the opposite....

"Must"? Not necessarily. We don't know if or how ED was to be compensated for that.

Being 'legally obligated' to do something does not always equate to being easily held accountable in a court of law.

For $150k, nope, not kidding.

This is definitely a cluster, but ED is doing what they can satisfy the supporters, that assumed the risk as well as I did and also trying remain profitable to survive this fickle business. This is one we all, including ED, will have to eat even though it will taste bad. I will agree on the matter to let us choose which modules I want instead of a default module, but will accept whatever. It's a real mess.

EDIT: ED staff you may want to release something or give some good news to offset the bad feelings in this thread. :smilewink:

Well, at least the KS videos didn't take away from the budget too much ... I hope.
