I wish I could have pledged more but i was unemployed at the time. Anyway... What do I get. Do I get to purchase the 3 planes i chose for $20, or do I get nothing?? $1-19 Bronze Backer credit in manuals Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
ED Team NineLine Posted July 8, 2014 ED Team Share Posted July 8, 2014 The KS doesn't say built on ED's platform. It says in partnership. There is video linked in the KS of Ilya at ED HQ discussing the project with ED's leadership as well as their artists, coders, etc... Your argument is flawed. ED offered developer assistance in manpower and resources, but the project was RRG's... and RRG's only... So your argument is flawed. Ilya set the goals... even if ED thought they were too much, it was Ilya's responsibility to fullfill them... he failed... welcome to today. Paganus
I think this: Everyone who isn't happy with what the new reward system is, ED should mark their names down and not give them anything at all. Apparently these people would prefer going to RPG Studios (which no longer exists) to try to get what they paid for. I would be curious to see how that endeavor turns out. I think what ED has done, as well as Leatherneck Studios, is extremely gracious. Generally, if something sounds too good to be true, it most likely is. $40 for 6 flyable DCS quality planes? lol. ED offered developer assistance in manpower and resources, but the project was RRG's... and RRG's only... So your argument is flawed. Ilya set the goals... even if ED thought they were too much, it was Ilya's responsibility to fullfill them... he failed... welcome to today. Is that why YOYO is developing the Spit? With that in mind, Ilya's continued involvement in the project, in any way, is rather worrying. Hans-Joachim Marseille
What a mess ... no wonder Sith looks like he's beaten up by disgruntled customers. First thoughts; reasonable offer. I really would have liked manuals in print like we had in the old days (hopefully ED will make them available through their webshop later on). I also would have liked the Me.262 since I already own the P-51D (like many who pledged I believe). Edit: Not only because of this KS fail, but I'm definitely going to revise my trust level in future KS products. ED Team NineLine Posted July 8, 2014 ED Team Share Posted July 8, 2014 Is that why YOYO is developing the Spit? For RGG... at the time.. yes Yo-Yo was also over seeing all FM's... that was part of the assitance... that DOESNT mean Yo-Yo had any say on the KS rewards or anything else... very much the opposite.... cichlidfan
Is a creator legally obligated to fulfill the promises of their project? Being 'legally obligated' to do something does not always equate to being easily held accountable in a court of law. Raven68
This is definitely a cluster, but ED is doing what they can satisfy the supporters, that assumed the risk as well as I did and also trying remain profitable to survive this fickle business. This is one we all, including ED, will have to eat even though it will taste bad. I will agree on the matter to let us choose which modules I want instead of a default module, but will accept whatever. It's a real mess. EDIT: ED staff you may want to release something or give some good news to offset the bad feelings in this thread. :smilewink: Edited July 8, 2014 by Raven68 Intel i5-9600K @ 3.7GHz Gigabyte Z370XP SLI Mobo G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2070 8GB 256-Bit GDDR6(Assume the latest driver version) Thermaltake Water 3.0 Certified Liquid Cooling System Windows 10 Professional Oculus Rift-S /TrackIR 5 in case VR dies Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog w/ Thrustmaster T-Flight Rudder Pedals
