#02 - DEV UPDATE 15/04/2014

I agree...probably... among the best looking cockpits handsdown in any game. I think even till now, the Su25 vanilla cockpit is the best looking cockpit in DCS world. This definitely rivals it for the artistic care. Just a bit of extra getting all the details right...very very well done. Looking forward to buying it.

Thank you all for the kind words. :)

Yep -- we have implemented noise and return from clouds, terrain, the ocean, etc.

I think there were more Animated GIFs than words, lol.

Ground Radar?,........... :music_whistling::music_whistling: :pilotfly:

Ground radar conformed! Now their next jet will need to have this feature. It was promised by a moderator!

Nope, it's just ground clutter in AIR TO AIR radar :D:D So you have to wait :P

Oculus CV1, Odyssey, Pimax 5k+ (i5 8400, 24gb ddr4 3000mhz, 1080Ti OC )

I don't care, all I heard was GROUND RADAR! :D

Seriously now, using that is going to be so much fun. I need to finish with these exams and start reading the YU manual.

Strange, I always taught wx radars are mainly doppler radars.

I'm talking from the applications field (remote sensing imagery processing), I'm not an radar engineering specialist :)

The X band radar have more resolution, so is affected by clouds and precipitation. A Doppler radar (probably a pulse-doppler) will measure the relative motion to the sensor, so it can be used for precipitation quantifying. In aviation radar use and generally speaking, it will filter the noise from the ground and show the moving elements at the sensed volume/area (look-down/shoot down).

Someone with more radar use knowledge, specifically on the RP-22 Sapfir radar, can put some more light on this?
