Grim_Smiles
We are totally dragging this thread off topic with assumptions, but I want to add this. While some aspects of WWII aircraft may be easier to do, the fact remains that flying them, as proven by the P-51D, isnt really one of them so mastering a high fidelity WWII fighter can take some work, now ask you customer base to buy 20 of them? I know, I expect a Sobek hammer if we keep up, lol. True on flying and mastering a WWII plane isn't simple, but I don't think it'll get to the point we have that many, at least not anytime soon. So far it seems they all want to hit on the very popular ones rather than way out there versions that only a handful might want. However, with this crowd I have a feeling a lot of people will buy all 20 even without the time to master all of them (I'd probably be one of them). Anyways, I will be happy with whatever they do... but for the love of all things holy... someone do an F-16 already!!! :) I know, I think every dev keeps avoiding the F-16 simply because "Falcon 4.0 already did that", but I really want to see the Falcon/Viper in DCS. mig29movt
And I was already thinking: Am I the only one being annoyed by all this slow old rubbish? I'm really looking forward to the new fast movers MiG-21, Hawk and one day the Hornet. I would buy almost every popular fast mover: MiG-23, F-4 if they have PFM and ASM [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Waiting to build a F/A-18C home-pit... ex - Swiss Air Force Pilatus PC-21 Ground Crew SFM? AFM? Cobra847
Until there is any thread entitled ANNOUNCEMENT -- XXXXX; they're just background images and nothing more. ;) Focus is on the MiG-21 for now; for all intents and purposes our flagship product. That being said, developing anything does not necessarily eliminate something else. We have frequently clarified our position on various aircraft. We are here to stay. We have long term and mid-term plans; and you should expect us to jump between eras and propulsion methods as we go along. BTW: Right now we have already partially transitioned into our next project. Some of you will be pleased, some of you will be very disappointed and some of you will, without a doubt, want our heads on a pike. Mike Busutil
I welcome any and all aircraft to DCS World. If we can expect the level of detail that went into the MiG-21 to also go into a LS WW2 fighter, you would be crazy not to get it.... howie87
Yeah yeah yeah... I just like jets is all :( I only bought the P-51 because it was $10. I supported RRG for a dollar... I just hope there's a 'premium' market for prop planes and none of the 3rd party devs end up quitting because they're having to sell their work at bargain bin prices to jet-heads like me. mjmorrow
When it is available, I will gladly purchase your flagship product, the Mig-21bis. I hope that you are one day able to introduce the Mig-17F and a Mig-19. Still, the Mig-21 is a very iconic machine and it will be fantastic to see this plane as a flyable in DCS. Best of luck & success to the dev team. MJ [sIGPIC]http://i688.photobucket.com/albums/vv250/mjmorrow76/SPAD%20of%20a%20new%20generation_zpshcbftpce.png[/sIGPIC]

Zakatak
DCS: Europe 1944 should be completed by the time their next product comes out, so if they go WWII, it would actually work pretty well. We're also getting a fair amount of early/mid Cold War era aircraft if they decide to jump to that time period. DCS: Tie Fighter confirmed! DCS: Viper II or go home.
