streakeagle
These are by far the best drivers I have used with DCS: higher fps and smoother frame rates, instead of trading off one for the other. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Mustang
I wonder if all the cries to AMD through the Catalyst Feedback Form actually got heard at long last, seriously this driver has almost been like having a decent PC hardware upgrade :D

SmokeyTheLung
Anyone with FSX tested it? I'm still on 13.4 to avoid the FSX crash problems. Maybe test it myself this weekend ;) So far so good with FSX. No crashes tonight! oneeyeddog
During the 'Harbor Tour' my framerates would briefly hit 17-19 FPS while chasing the lead Huey low over the airfield, past the taxiing Mustang. Now they dip to 26-28 FPS but in general are much higher than before.

*Rage*
How is it they got such massive improvements from the new driver? Edit: and why aren't they shouting it from the rooftops like the recent nvidia release?! GregP
Confirmed, same (awesome!) result: the 14.4 RC1 drivers give me identical FPS to the good ol' 13.9's. DLL trick finally no longer needed!
Goose_Man
Awesome news, I had a Nvidia 560Ti but recently upgraded to a MSI Gaming r9 290 and love it. I saw a substantial improvement in overall smoothness compared to the 560. That said, I won't update drivers until 14.4 certified (currently 13.12). How long though until they switch from RC1 to full release (estimate) ? Edited April 25, 2014 by Goose_Man
