Wabacku
Is it possible to use Su27 SFM Data for a custom plane? If yes, where is the data located in DCSW? Thanks

SkateZilla
Interesting..I thought SFM was hardcoded.. SFM Data is in a file that goes through integretty check for MP i believe. but all the data is there and you can make your own entry and data.lua's out of the info. ED Team NineLine Posted April 23, 2014 ED Team Share Posted April 23, 2014 Interesting..I thought SFM was hardcoded.. Certain things are, even though some code is visible... you can do a lot with what is visible... at least have some fun. aaron886
some code is visible... Not really. Some values used in calculation are adjustable. The code itself is obviously not.
ED Team NineLine Posted April 23, 2014 ED Team Share Posted April 23, 2014 Well you cant take those value, copy and paste them into a new file and blam, your aircraft is done... so yes, there is some code visible, but a lot of things are also hard coded. That does not make it "code." It contains no calculation or logic. Just data.
ED Team NineLine Posted April 25, 2014 ED Team Share Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) Without those values what do you have? Values are part of it, you can also add in your own stuff like shells, guns, etc... but if we want to nitpick it... ok.
