fatcannoli
Hello, I have FC3,Black Hawk2, Huey, P51D and Warthog installed. Going to reformat Hard drive. Is there a correct procedure to prepare for this with these games? Would like to refrain from having to pull my hair out trying to get them reinstalled. Also when I go into module manager it does not show any serial numbers. Did not purchase through steam and vaguely remember some starforce/lock or something procedure. Thank you kindly for any advice. Giacomo
dagandolfo
Not in front of my Sim PC at the moment but from memory you will have to go into the DCS World folder then under mods/aircraft each module has its own folder. Within each of those folders is a bin folder which has a file ending _protect.exe (eg a10_protect.exe). Run this and you should have the option to de-activate. Paganus
Deactivate the modules inside the module manager. You may want to also backup your Saved Games folder.

tintifaxl
Deactivate the modules inside the module manager. You may want to also backup your Saved Games folder. This didn't work for me. Aginor
No problem, you will get one back after a month anyway, IIRC. DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet

samtheeagle
No problem, you will get one back after a month anyway, IIRC. Does this apply to all modules? I've been a DCS player since the original Black Shark came out, and I've never quite been clear on the complications of the DRM system.
Aginor
To be honest I'm not sure anymore, I have used no more than two or three activations, on any module. DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet
