LUSO Posted February 2, 2014 Author Share Posted February 2, 2014 (edited) In my case the aircraft starts at the parking. And I put the power max brake engaged before takeoff. I also have a flight plan and loads under the wings. EDIT: I started at Parking with all systems off and waited about 2-3 minutes after power on before I stated the engines. Nate--IRL-- Posted February 2, 2014 Share Posted February 2, 2014 HSI take 3 mins to align after power on. If you move the aircraft before this time the HSI will not show the true heading. This info should be in the manual but isn't.
