I hope they release it this month. I would also contribute if they develop a full blown avionics suite, which would be logical and which would convert the entire DCS franchise from helicopters and slow jets to fast movers. I hope bombs could be mounted on those Charlies so I can lob ones with overspun turbines!

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

everyone has been quiet.... my guess is everyone is waiting for 1.2.8... patch

I can't see how 1.2.8 is delaying the release of 3rd party modules. Modules where designed for 1.2.7 and possibly earlier. It is beyond me considering that modules designed with out EDGE are now not compatible until the release of EDGE.

EDGE is a graphics engine, it has nothing to do with the coding structure of the aircraft. Not that i'm phased by the delay. Happy to wait a few more years considering I am still waiting for ----'s F14 and F22 from several years ago which once in a blue moon David still fires off an update that he still has not given up on DCS World

  • 3 weeks later...

Before, you had to fly the F-15 like a fighter. Now, with the PFM, you have to FLY it. "You gotta know what your doin'!" I mean, really know!

Absolutely awesome.

Whoever is working on Sound, at Belsimtek, must be a musician, because what I am hearing is music to MY ears.

The Hornet is best at killing things on the ground. Now, if we could just get a GAU-8 in the nose next to the AN/APG-65, a titanium tub around the pilot, and a couple of J-58 engines in the tail...
