First, I just want to point out that this PSD is an UNOFFICIAL PSD, and Not an Official BST PSD.

This PSD Template is in no way related to any template they may or may not be preparing.

 

Future Compatibility May or May Not Change due to Texture Map Changes on the 3d Model.

This template is only for the MAIN texture, (Fuselage, Wings, Stabs, Etc)

This Template was Created in Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 64-Bit.

 

CHANGE LOG:

 

 

What was done for 2.0.2/1.5.3v21

-Updated UVW Overlay layers w/ the New Layout and Added Sections

-Updated Diffuse Base Map and Details to the New Layout and Added Sections

-Updated Specular Group, It's now the Base, w/ Sub Groups for Chrome/Metal and Matte/Paint

-Added New Chrome Overlay Layers for Exhaust, Intake Leading Edge, Wing Leading Edge, Horizontal Stab Leading Edge, and Vertical Tail Leading Edge

(These Have the R,G,B Layers Adjusted to Work w/ the New Specular Layer)

-Added New Matte/Paint Overlays for Specular (Nose Anti-Glare, Stencils/Decals, Borts, Markings Etc)

-Cleaned Up the "Panel Lines/Rivets" group, w/ 4 Layers: Light, Dark, Very Dark/Dirty and Weathering

-Cleaned Up some Decal/Stencils

-Added New Weathering Layer Converted from the Default Weathering

-Added a Black Nose Anti-Glare Diffuse Layer to Details Group

-Added Pylons PSD (UVW, DIFFUSE, SPECULAR GROUPS)

-Added GAR Pylon PSD (UVW, DIFFUSE, SPECULAR GROUPS)

-Updated TANKS (120/200 GAL) PSD w/ (UVW, DIFFUSE, SPECULAR GROUPS)

-Updated Pilot PSDs (Head, Helmet, w/ (UVW, DIFFUSE, SPECULAR GROUPS) and Body w/ (UVW, DIFFUSE, GROUPS)

 

What was done for 1.5.0v.8

-UVW OVERLAY LAYERS

-Adjusted Some layers, separated some more details (Yet again, lol)

-Separated the USAF / BORT Stencils from the BST Roundels (*User will have to make new Matte Specular overlays for the new roundels.)

-Added Correctly proportioned Roundels (STD and Modern Camo 1 Color)

-Merged Polished v2.0 Layers (Blue Tint Diffuse Layer and a Version 2.0 Polished Specular Layer)

-Further Sorting of Layers

 

What was done for 1.5.0v2

-Adjusted Some layers, separated some more details

-Layers color coded and labeled and re-grouped.

-Specular Layers and overlays added for Active Duty and Polished (What was used for my current skin pack)

-Removed Custom Groups (ie My Skin Pack Groups and Path Layers)

-Newer Panel Line / Rivet Layers and Extension layer converted from Normal Map (OLD Layers retained, relabeled)

-Added Small weathering/dirt/grime layer, will be tweaked further

 

 

What was done for v1.2.16v3

-Adjusted some Coloring and Layer Order,

-Added Yet Another Panel Line Layer, (See new Screengrab of New Rivet Layer)

-Fixed a Missing Stencil on Nose under windshield

 

What was done for v1.2.16v2

-Created a separate layer for darker panel lines/rivets without weathering.

What was Done for v1.2.16:

-Transferred New Details from 1.2.16 update.

-Adjusted Some Layer Positioning

-Moved Details from Base Layer to separate layers.

Also, Please Note, some material names have Changed in 1.2.15/.16

 

What was Done for v1.2.10.32095

-Transitioned New Internal Textures,

-Transitioned New Gun Textures (Now Each Barrel has it's Own Texture)

-Created Reference Layers for Markings ( TFS Stripes, User can Easily Change Colors from Black/Yellow to Whatever they Need)

-Adjusted Layer Sorting, Moved some Misplaced Layers to the correct group.

-Also Note there is Now a New DECAL Layer and Texture for the Fuselage and Wings, See the Updated Material / Description.lua names below.

 

What was Done For Original Release:

-Re-Created The Base Silver Layer (Using Combination of Filters and Bump Map Layer)

-Re-Created The Panel Line and Rivets Overlays (Using Combination of Filters and Bump Map Layer)

-Stencils Re-Typed in USAF Stencil Format (All Stencils are Still in their Type Font Format and Can be Edited (Color, Content, Font, etc)

-Added Extra Stenciled Text and Logos

-Logo's Redrawn As Separate Logo Layers.

-Some Fuselage Details were Made separate (Cannon Plates, Exhaust Plates. etc) just in case you want to paint over them or not.

-Some Text Stencils may not be 100% Accurate due to clarity of the original text. (Some MIL SPEC Numbers may be wrong)

The RAR Archive Includes the PSD,

Any True Type Font I may have used are also Linked,

I Used a Combination of Stencil, USAF_Stencil, and ArmarilloUSAF Regular,

I Also Included some other common fonts used.

 

To Make your Own Livery, Simply Start Painting in A Blank Diffuse Layer Above the Base Diffuse Layer.

Excellent template considering you had to start from scratch. I know from experience how long these things can take to create.

Basco you should be able to edit the template yourself to change the airbrake internal colour.

I can`t remember but I have seen somewhere too that red track (line) over U.S AirForce roundel. I think I saw yellow on a some plane and she crossed over (let's say annoying) paint too. I wonder why that line right there, what it means?

I can`t remember but I have seen somewhere too that red track (line) over U.S AirForce roundel. I think I saw yellow on a some plane and she crossed over (let's say annoying) paint too. I wonder why that line right there, what it means?

 

One can change the Layer order to make one decal on top of another, I just turned everything on for the screenshots.

 

One can change the color of the lines as well in photo shop by double clicking the shape layer and choosing color overlay.

 

Most Aircraft have the Red Line to signify where the turbine or prop blades are.

It still uses the default internal colors, however, one can add a layer above the base layer and paint it green.

 

My objective wasn't to re-do everything to make it 100% Accurate (brake colors, warning lines, etc), but to make it so it's layered and available for Texture Artists to create Liveries
