Indeed...

Sure, localization efforts continue. Off the top of my head, I know that the French team is getting things finalized. Also, at least half of the training tracks have been dubbed in English over the last couple of days. Work goes on.

General Vorobyov was killed when his Ka-50 #22 crashed. This skin added in the game in his honour. You can not replace number on it through the game interface.

What a great way to honour his memory . :closedeyes:

This is not about a movies and screenshots.

Now some music.

You can place in this folder any music for listening broadcast Radio Mayak in Ka-50 cockpit with R-800 radio receiver (UHF-2, 125675 KHz, AM). The transmitter is installed in Maykop city.

I converted original WAV-files (16-bit, 22,050 Hz, mono) to mp3 (56 kbits/sec., mono). This RadioMayak.zip file "can now be downloaded 10 times. It will be deleted after 90 days without download." So if somebody interesting or still not obtain Russian version…

Some more screenshots. Planes, taxiing, take offs, landings, carrier ops.

Some roof and mountain tops Black Shark landings.

(Hi-Res versions available, just click the "Full-Size" icon above an image when in single image view)

Black Shark Gallery

Plus funny situation (starting around screenshot 100 in the above gallery). Squadron of F/A-18 taking off from carrier. Me flying towards carrier and trying to land on it:

main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=2612&g2_serialNumber=2

Well, had to fly a little forward, there at least carrier was solid. Anyway, waiting for the first F/A-18 to land (they all lower gear at the same time, just second later 3 of them decided no to land this time).

The first F/A-18 landed and:

main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=2447&g2_serialNumber=2

main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=2291&g2_serialNumber=2

The AI is not the smartest :lol:

Heh, nice one, just found it, it works.

And EDIT2:

Seeing how everything is done in LUA here I though that the above has to be configurable. It is!

Scripts\World\Radio\Beacons.lua

beacons[167]={}
beacons[167]["name"]="Mayak"
beacons[167]["type"] = BEACON_BROADCAST_STATION
beacons[167]["position"]={}
beacons[167]["position"]["latitude"] = 44.744348
beacons[167]["position"]["longitude"] = 40.093099
beacons[167]["position"]["height"]=220.0
beacons[167]["position"]["course"]=0
beacons[167]["frequency"]=125675000.0
beacons[167]["power"]=1500.0
beacons[167]["modulation"]="AM"
beacons[167]["path"] = "RadioMayak"

-- Для добавления новой широковещательной радиостанции пользователью нужно прописать в скрипте новую вещательную радиостанцию,
-- при этом задав её координаты, частоту, модуляцию, мощность передатчика и каталог с плей-листом.
-- Файлы будут проигрываться рандомно с контролем интервала между повторением композиций.

--[[
beacons[168]={}
beacons[168]["name"]="Maniac"
beacons[168]["type"] = BEACON_BROADCAST_STATION
beacons[168]["position"]={}
beacons[168]["position"]["latitude"] = 44.740
beacons[168]["position"]["longitude"] = 40.09
beacons[168]["position"]["height"]=220.0
beacons[168]["position"]["course"]=0
beacons[168]["frequency"]=125675500.0
beacons[168]["power"]=1500.0
beacons[168]["modulation"]="AM"
beacons[168]["path"] = "RadioManiac"
--]]

So we can add as many different radios as we want in different locations with different music! :thumbup:
