The aircraft seems to loose much more energy in turns than previously, I may me biased but you'll have to use burners quite oftenly to maintain a specific speed on turns, keeping a military power on a CAP config won't be enough most of the time. More feedback concerning the new flight model would be appreciated.

 

First you have to tune clean aircraft.

When it's good you have to adjust stores drag.

mmm after more tests in dogfight and comparative on tacview Before / after patch, i deffinitively dont like new engine performance ... we lost too much power and very difficult to retrieve combat speed, with dive etc ...

Hi Myleniskaya, I certainly welcome additional data, however changes were made to match much closer to better information we have and was previously extremely overperforming in many areas. It actually still is in some which I am working on but it is definitely closer.

In game, in the cockpit I have 25 AoA.

Tacview read 35 AoA or so...

 

And I need to check but I remember I had differences between Tacview turn rate and DCS value in debug mode...

 

Overall it's a great tool though...

I'm just wondering if the AI will be tweaked any time soon. I've noticed some erratic behavior when trying to practice formation flying with AI.

 

-NAV lights constantly on; Anti-Collision off after TO

-Every turn is 3+G and bleeds hideous amounts of airspeed

Yes. Locking and IFF works. :) No auto-lock yet though.
