Joint Warrior 4

The 104th, 51st and SA-Sim are pleased to announce the first Joint Warrior Event of 2015.

After the success of the Joint Warrior events last year that showcased some of the toughest battles in DCS Online Competition history the format returns for 2015!

The event will take place on the 27th & 28th of June on the 104th and 51st Servers instead of the planned Red Flag event which will be moved to July.

Joint Warrior is a symmetrical force on force event that consists of 4 teams of 24 Pilots battling for the top spot in a 2 day competition. All teams fight on Saturday 27th and the winners from each match progress on to the finals held on Sunday 28th. Each team must have at least 4 Air to Ground pilots but may choose to take more. The aim of the mission is to attack the enemies assets while also protecting your own, both sides are attacker and defender.

The mission will be released for all clients to study 2 weeks before the event starts on the 27th of June.

The sign up will take place here on ED Forums, each team will be assigned by SA-Sim to either the 104th or 51st Servers for the prelims and will have to join either the 104th or 51st Teamspeak servers to take part in the event.

Question: why not add a Ground commander acting as GCI in each side? we have pilots not ready for combat, but good enough to make a human GCI

I'm making a new post, but just to be sure, I'll edit my old one as well.

We'll be willing to take 12 slots, 10 air to air, 2 air to ground.

1. Panthir Greece F-15C

2. Goldshe Latvia F-15C

We also have at least two stand ins that will be ready to take our positions if somebody from our roster do not show up, or if somebody from other teams don't show up (which is always the case).

AtA stand in #1 ACEL UK F-15C

AtG stand in #2 Killdain USA Su-25T

Let me know if there are any problems. :music_whistling:

I posted in the thread on 104th's forums already, but for anyone interested in forming a coalition with S77th, hit me up! We're aiming to prepare a full 20 man roster that will work together over the next month to prepare for this event.

You can reach me here or on our own forums at http://www.S77th.com.

Hi Pyro, we are interested, the 71st and the 57th, we already have about 10x A2A pilots and 4x A2G

Its crazy...where you find so many pilots?

Correct if be 6 A2A + 2 A2G.

20+4....0_o

Hey Max, each team is a coalition of pilots coming from two or more squadrons plus lonewolves. You can brings bring as many UVAF pilots as you can and we will try to fit you in.

Hey Flnakerator, i think its not serius.

2 strong squadrons decided to be trained on lonewolves. It isn't a shame? Such number of different people in one team strongly complicates management of it. And it means that to win this competition it is considered improbable. We won't take part in it.

Change a format on 6+2, it will be more interesting and it is easier for teams. And besides them will be more.

Joint Warrior's purpose as the name indicates is to join forces with other pilots and squadrons. What you are suggesting is more appropriate for a SATAC event (squadron vs squadron).

As for 104th and 51st teaming up together, why not? yes it will be tough to win against them but it's not impossible. An S77th-led coalition managed to pull that off in the last OPFOR.

I'd prefer to go against the best and make the most out of loosing rather than winning without evolving. Giving an opportunity to DCS pilots to train in a serious PvP environment while having fun is what our events are all about.

No.

If you think it would be better with 6+2 feel free to organise your own event and put your own hard work into it.
