Dear ALL,

Many thanks for joining the opening exercise of Operation ''Tuckstonia''. Ghost and 373vFS share the same joy with you about the success of the event for plenty of reasons:

1. We manage to have +40 people flying, fighting and performirng A/G striking on a DCS server for over an hour without significant problems, crashes or CTDs

2. We had the chance to meet each other after long long time for a DCS mission...:thumbup:

3. All the participants were coming from all aver the globe (several European countries, New Zealnd and US!!)

We believe that these details make up the essence for a great DCS event. We are really grateful for your participation, we invite you all to keep the same pace and enthousiasm for the missions of Operation ''Tuckstonia'' that will follow.

Our first exercise, even though might be a relatively simple (or even frustrating or boring) it was the beginning of our gathering to fly more exciting ones in the near future on a more stable DCS environment.

Stay tuned with the news from Operation ''Tucstonia'' because our mastermind Ghost (aka mwd2 ) has made a lot (and long) plans for all of us... :smartass:

The event was great and I am looking forward for the second mission.

I had some personal hardware problems (low fps) but after the end of the event I found out that somehow nvidia drivers were reseting my GPU overclock... :doh:

+1 vote for DATO alliance. :D

For such a high ping on my end, formation flying wasn't too tough. That's about all I got to do before constant CTD.

Don't want to hijack the thread, but how do you guys set up your GFX so it doesn't CTD?

Should just remove immortality alltogether to begin with.

The bug occured only in some occasions where many clients where hit at the same time and the engine was not able to report in time.All the other reports seemed ok.

The immortality fuction works only if you are hit by missiles etc and not from a crash in the ground so it is used for our exercises in order to have a ''Red Flag'' style exercise and have the chance to RTB with our wingman.

In the regular missions of the Campaign the fuction is off :smilewink:

The BLUE air force got an invitation for a head to head virtual air training battle northeast of Caucasus mountain. Each side can sent 15 pilots to test their dog fighting skills against the other side.

-RED aircrafts will be Su-27s/MiG-29S

-BLUE aircrafts will be F-15Cs.

-RED Homebase will be Mineralnye Vody (the base is secure with SAM sites)

-BLUE Homebase will be Belsan. (the base is secure with SAM sites)

The Battle area will placed between both homebases. Weapons will be only IR warheads (R-60, R-73, AIM-9M/P) and guns.
