New video - DCS World Tv Commercial

Hey guys! This doesn't happen often, does it? :P

Well, a while ago (around October 2013) I worked with Eagle Dynamics to make a tv commercial video for DCS World/Flaming Cliffs 3. I made 2 videos, each 30 seconds long. The Flaming Cliffs 3 version was for the Russian market, while the DCS World version was for the US market.

This video contains all footage used in both videos. I had to wait a while before going public with this video, but here it is. :)

Eagle Dynamics obtained permission to use music by "Two Steps From Hell" - "Invincible".

Enjoy, however short this one is. :D

PS: The 30 seconds "DCS World" video will air on The Military Channel in march (quoted by Matt).

Air it during the SuperBowl, lol!

Unfortunately, ED doesn't have that kind of money.

Great work! I will probably never see it in TV, but Eagle D. should consider using this video on Twich tv on channels with simulator or arcade content.

Playing this on channels with World of Warplanes for example.

Do, or do not, there is no try.

But still something is missing... no voice over. It is intended or will it be added?

Matt can probably give a 100% certain answer to this one, but it is planned to my knowledge (for the 30 sec version to be aired on Tv, not the youtube version).

Just one suggestion if you will be doing more of these. Add shortened start up sequence to it also. It would explain what DCS is about the most: BUTTONS ... joking. :D

Great work GA. Also good to see DCS getting some promoting on the Military Channel.

Are there any other channels planned to promote this later on Matt?

Well, if you're curious, when im making videos like this, it goes pretty much like this;

They tell me what to include in the video, more or less. And I have to figure out how to make it look somewhat exciting, and make it all fit within a 30 second video, including logos and credits. So showing even 3 button presses within the cockpit would take up way too much time :D

Nice video.

I hope this is going to make ED some money, they deserve it.
